"...God willing...you will become the President of Ghana.” Bawku Naba

Bawku Naba, Nana Addo and Bawumia
Naba Asigiri Azoka Abugrago II, paramount Chief of Bawku, has denied allegations that he has endorsed  President John Mahama (NDC) ahead of the conduct of this year’s elections. According to him, reports that he declared his support for President Mahama, after his visit  to his palace earlier this month, are not true. The Bawku Naba explained that, when President Mahama visited him, “I was in possession of a white handkerchief. The journalists present alleged that this was an endorsement of President Mahama. It is not true. The same way I am dressed before Nana is the same way I was dressed before the President.”

Naba Asigiri Azoka Abugrago II, without hesitation, indicated that “this is the proper endorsement I want to make. God willing this year, you will get what you want and become the President of Ghana.” The Paramount Chief of Bawku made this known on Monday, August 29, when the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, paid him a visit at his palace, as part of his tour of the Upper East Region.
