West African leaders said Thursday they were seeking to "forbid" women wearing full-face veils in an effort to curb the growing number of female suicide bombers unleashed by Boko Haram jihadists. The company which branded the 116 public buses with pictures of President Mahama and other former heads of states has expressed shock as the “outrageous” figures being quoted by government. According to Kwaku Mensah Abeiku, Manager of Crystal concept, his company charged GHȼ11,600 as cost for the rebranding of all the 116 buses. According to a document sent to Parliament detailing some government expenditure, it cost GH₵31,000 to brand each of the 116 buses. Many especially the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) have accused government of milking the state coffers ahead of the 2016 elections. But government has justified spending GH₵3.6million on re-branding 116 public buses with pictures of the president, explaining that artistic work is generally expensive.

Uganda: Police Force Most Corrupt Institution - report

Popular Aba based comedian and actor Dede One Day has died. The actor died in the early hours of this morning after he slumped while anchoring an event in Obehi in Abia state. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. He was in his 40s. Reports has it that the comedian died of high blood pressure.
