The Sanaahene of the Atebubu Traditional Council has disclosed that he is a member of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC). Ghana’s constitution forbids chiefs and traditional rulers from taking part in active partisan politics. But Nana Osei Wusu opened up to Chief Jerry Forson on Accra100.5FM’s Ghana Yensom Thursday March 31, 2016 that he is affiliated to the NDC.

NAIROBI: Some 150 public primary schools selected for the first phase of the ambitious laptops project will get the devices on May 1. Three public primary schools in each of the 47 counties and nine schools for children with special needs have been picked for the Proof of Concept phase of the Sh19 billion project targeting all Standard One pupils in public schools.

Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has kicked off the process of identifying an operator for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). The New Patriotic Party is demanding the immediate release of three South Africans it says are being held in unlawful custody by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI). The demand, made Monday morning at a press conference, comes shortly after the BNI released the head of private security of the New Patriotic Party flagbearer Captain Koda who was arrested on Friday in connection with the arrival in Ghana of the three South Africans.

Passengers who traveled through the Kumasi International Airport last Friday evening were subjected to a harrowing experience when they were made to walk through rains from the tarmac to the arrival hall.
