Bole: Two Soldiers Shot Dead By Gunmen

Two soldiers have been shot dead by gunmen at Bole in the Northern region. The soldiers, whose identities are yet to be confirmed, were part of the Bole District Security Council team enroute to a galamsey site at Dolla Power, a border town in Ivory Coast. The team consisted of the District Chief Executive, a Police Commander in the area and a Commander of the Ghana National Fire Service also from Bole.The soldiers died during an exchange of gunshots with the unknown armed men. It is not clear yet the reason for the attack. According to the journalists,the Fire Service Commander was also hit by bullets fired by the gun men. Bodies of the dead have been deposited at the Bole Government Hospital while the injured person is currently receiving treatment. No arrest has yet been made.
