The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command is trying to unravel the circumstances under which a 21-year old suspected armed robber, Kwaku Yeboah who was under a 24-hour guard at the Sunyani Regional Hospital managed to escape on Thursday, May 5, 2016. The command has thus given the police constable who was guarding the suspect (name withheld), who is part of the operations unit a 10-day ultimatum to find the suspected robber or face the full rigours of the rules and regulations of the Ghana Police Service.

Deputy Minister Chased Out From Registration Centre
The Deputy Trade and Industry Minister and Member of Parliament for Nantong, Murtala Mohammed, was on Saturday chased away from the Zing registration centre for insulting some community members in the area. Information gathered by DAILY GUIDE indicated that the MP for the area bused in some students from a different community to the registration centre to register.

The suspect, currently declared wanted by the Effiduase police, reportedly captured his sexual acts and circulated them via Bluetooth, WhatsApp and other social media platforms at a fee of GHC5.00. A family member, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE on condition of anonymity, said the suspect used a charm necklace to hypnotize the ladies who then followed him to his house for the sexual act. The source said that Daniel Ofosu uses his laptop webcam to capture the-ladies when in the act without their knowledge.

The Ahafo Ano South West Constituency Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Anthony Osei Yaw Akoto is reported dead after he was involved in a fatal accident. The NPP stalwart died at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) where he was receiving treatment after sustaining multiple injuries from the accident.

Hwidiem: Chief Inspector assaulted by macho men at registration centre
A Chief Inspector of police was assaulted by heavily built men at a registration centre at Hwidiem in the Asutifi South District of the Brong Ahafo Region. Chief Inspector Broni Acheampong, speaking to Nana Ama Agyarko on Accra News on the same day after the incident, said as part of security measures for the ongoing limited voter registration exercise, he had detailed some police officers to all registration centres in the area in the morning.
