Ghana is among the list of 36 countries that are eligible to receive assistance under the Highly Indebted Poor Country initiative by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if they wish to do so.
The IMF and World Bank launched the HIPC initiative with the aim of helping poor countries manage their indebtedness. Nana Predicts Her Own Death !

Renowned Kenyan television actress Nana Gichuru died in a horrific motor accident Tuesday, September 12 in the country’s capital, Nairobi. The actress' BMW collided with a truck while trying to overtake some vehicles on Nairobi’s Eastern bypass. Her death has thrown the country into a state of mourning.  The country is stunned the more by revelations that she actually predicted her own death a day before.
Nana Gichuru shared what has been described as premonition about her death on social media including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. She said: “Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘HOLY CRAP!!!! The accident, which many suspect was a case of speeding, left her car, with registration number KBQ 486J, badly mangled. John Ndebugri, a private legal practitioner and lawyer for some of the 22 judges who were implicated in the judicial corruption scandal, has warned that all the people who viewed Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ video at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Tuesday, are in contempt of court. An interlocutory injunction on the journalist to stop him from showing the video was dropped but a fresh one was filed on the AICC.
Thousands of people lined up the venue for the premiering as managers of the Accra International Conference Center disregarded the injunction and went ahead allowing Anas to show the video. Who is Anas ? Undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is a household name in Ghana, but almost nobody knows his face. His anonymity lets him investigate and expose lawbreakers.
The work is dangerous. When Anas posed as a mental patient to expose drug dealing in an asylum, he was temporarily paralyzed by a mixture of mandatory sedatives, he took pills to combat their effects and he injected cocaine to win the trust of fellow inmates. He was caught impersonating a Catholic priest in Bangkok, Thailand, he was immediately thrown in jail without trial. Fresh multiple explosions have rocked Ajilari Railway cross of Gomari Airport ward of Maiduguri living scores of people dead and critically injured.
