Renowned Kenyan television actress Nana Gichuru died in a horrific motor accident Tuesday, September 12 in the country’s capital, Nairobi. The actress' BMW collided with a truck while trying to overtake some vehicles on Nairobi’s Eastern bypass. Her death has thrown the country into a state of mourning. The country is stunned the more by revelations that she actually predicted her own death a day before.
Nana Gichuru shared what has been described as premonition about her death on social media including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. She said: “Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘HOLY CRAP!!!! WHAT A RIIIDEE….!!’ To lace, red lips and oversized headphones and this amazing ride! #LifeAccessories #SetLife #HOLYCRAPWHATARIDE!!!”
The accident, which many suspect was a case of speeding, left her car, with registration number KBQ 486J, badly mangled. Nana Gichuru was a well-known Kenyan actor, writer, musician, voice artist, young film maker and entrepreneur. Nana was part of the cast of Maisha Magic’s “How To Find A Husband”, May her soul RIP.
