Ayew is the 2nd most fouled player behind Mark Noble in the EPL

 Andre Ayew Swansea superstar is one of the most fouled players in the English Premier League. In his six league appearances he has been fouled  on the Belgian 18 times  in 2015-16, an average of 3.2 per game. Ayew is behind West Ham's Mark Noble who has been  fouled more than any other player this season. with referees blowing up for 19 fouls on Noble this season (3.2 per game). Aston Villa's Idrissa Gueye also has also been fouled at a ratio of three per game, 12 times in total, while Alexis Sanchez has suffered 17 so far this season (2.8 per game). Hazard has suffered 16 (2.7 per game), while Ross Barkley and Sadio Mane have both suffered 15 fouls each at a ratio of 2.5 per match. Attacking midfielders are perhaps unsurprisingly the ones who are usually on the receiving end of the most fouls. Eden Hazard topped the list last season, with players being judged to have fouled him 113 times at an average of three times per match. Raheem Sterling was second with 94 fouls against him, followed by Sadio Mane (76), Alexis Sanchez (72), Santi Cazorla (61) and Connor Wickham (61). These figures are for fouls awarded by a referee and do not include fouls that have not been given.
