Accra- Appearing before a five-member body hearing an
impeachment petition he filed against some 34 judges cited in his recent
undercover work, Ghana’s "most-wanted" investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, looked simple in a sandal made from a
car tyre. Anas’ sandals, locally called “Taawutu” and worn mostly by palm wine tappers, cost US $9 on a
shopping site.
In complete contrast compared to his soaring popularity, the ace investigative journalist can costume himself as a “mad person” and prefers to live a simple life in his fight against corruption and rot in our society.
