Among the new, shocking but youthful emerging NDC parliamentary aspirants is Dr Ezenator Rawlings who is gunning for the Korle Klottey seat in Accra. Dr. Ezenator Rawlings has stated that she cannot ignore her parents in her bid to become Member of Parliament for the area. According to Ezenator, there is a thin line between her growth and her parents' political history therefore she cannot distance herself from them as she gets into active politics. The daughter of former president Jerry Rawlings made these comments in reaction to claims that her parents political history may play to her disadvantage in the November 7 polls of the ruling party. Speaking to Accra-based Kasapa FM Friday, Dr. Rawlings was emphatic and hopeful that people will understand that her parents are always going to be part of her life and engagements. The ruling party will go to the polls on November 7 to elect its presidential and parliamentary candidates.
