About a year ago, Akoo Nana’s performance at Tigo Unplugged Concert became the talk of town as he brought bare-chested ladies in masks on stage to dance for him.
He came out to defend the act saying he was embarking on a breast cancer campaign hence his act was completely planned to educate the over twenty thousand patrons of the event on breast cancer and its effects. The singer who confirmed in an interview with Livefmghana.com says he does not regret the act. “I don’t regret bringing those girls on stage, I mean it was an art moreover I was preaching a message which I think was misunderstood on stage,” he said.

German Engineer Duped GHC2.7m By Two Nigerians


Two Nigerians, Mark Adigun Latif alias Nana Adjei and Toefeek Ajisafe Oluwashola alias Benjamin Osei,  who allegedly defrauded a German female engineer to the tune of £260,000 and $350,000 (GHC2.7 million) under the pretext of supplying her with gold, have been arraigned before court for fraud. The accused persons, were put in an Accra Circuit Court, presided over by Afi Agbaney Kudamor and charged with conspiracy to commit crime.

Balala calls for laws to minimize tourist harassment

Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala has asked Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale and Lamu County authorities to formulate laws that would regulate activities at beaches to curb the harassment of tourists. Mr Balala on Thursday said he would link with governors to find solutions to thorny issues affecting the sector.
