Tema: Controversial ‘Angel of God’ declared as a crime suspect – Police

Founder and leader of the International Godsway Church, controversial ‘Angel of God’ Bishop Daniel Obinim has been declared as a crime suspect by the Tema Regional Police. This was after Bishop Obinim responded to an invitation sent to him by the Tema Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU).
As a crime suspect, the Bishop was handcuffed and transferred to the National Criminal Investigations Department in Accra after a caution statement by the police.

Tema Region Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Juliana Obeng explained that, the decision to handcuff the Bishop is part of police procedure to escort him to the Police Headquarters safely. “Bishop Obinim is not above the laws of Ghana so the police did not err handcuffing him; he is our suspect” she stressed.
