Ghana's Black Starlets qualifies for AJC final round

Ghana Black Starlets lost 4-1 to Burkina Faso in a second leg match on Saturday but qualified on a 6-5 aggregate scoreline to meet Ivory Coast in the final qualifier to decide which nation joins the final six teams to join host nation Madagascar next year.

“I think it was a good match, I must congratulate Burkina Faso they played a very good game, but then we have to really fight hard, we need to qualify from this stage,” Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin praised his players for qualifying for the next stage of the African Junior Championship qualifiers.
