5,000 defected NDC members meets Mrs. Akufo-Addo

Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo wife of Nana Akuffo Addo has assured some defectors of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asuogyamang and Lower Manya Krobo constituencies in the Eastern Region of her party's commitment to better the lives of Ghanaians.
Mrs Akufo-Addo said this when she met with the members numbering about 5,000 who defected from the NDC. The leader of the defected groups thanked Mrs Akufo-Addo for welcoming them into the New Patriotic Party. She said she and her family had been members of the NDC since she attained voting age. Her decision to join the NPP and recruit other NDC members to join the NPP was based on the corruption and lies of the NDC. 

They promised to work tirelessly to get Nana Akufo-Addo elected as President of Ghana, to pursue the agenda for change. She added that her strong belief that Nana Akufo-Addo would deliver on his promise, particularly with regards to free SHS, so their children can also become lawyers, doctors and teachers.
