The Actors Guild of Ghana (Ashanti Regional branch) visited recovering actor Wayoosi and made a donation to help fight his ailment. The Guild presented a check of Ghc 1,000 to complement an earlier Ghc 2,500 donation – marking a Ghc 3,500 donation to him in total.
Bill Asamoah, Honey Frimpong, James Effo Mensah, and Monica Effah, as well as a host of other actors/actresses visited Wayoosi, real name Joseph Osei, and made the donation when news of his sickness, a liver and kidney condition, came up – and the earlier donation was given to him at the hospital to help cover his bills.
