Indonesia: Crocodile mauls tourist to death

A Russian tourist has been killed by a crocodile while visiting Indonesia. Sergey Lykhvar, 37, was reported missing last Friday while visiting the Raja Ampat islands of West Papua, where he had been planning to snorkel around the remote Minyaifun island.
Prasetyo Budiarto, head of search and rescue in the region, told reporters that rescuers had spotted a large saltwater crocodile trailing behind Lykhvar’s body when he was discovered.

The snake vendor who spoke to JoyNews´ Dzifa Kegey on his inspiration noted that his business is picking up despite the dangers he faces. Although he did not mention who are his clients and how much one snake could earn him, he seems focus and happy with his business.

A 27 yr old man known as Sarfo who killed a pregnant lady at Ayiem in Amenfi central last week has been killed by angry residents.

The deceased, after his criminal act went into hiding until he was arrested by community guards who had been hunting for him.

The visibly angry youth after capturing him would not listen to pleas by elders of the town to handover over the deceased to the police, but went ahead and set him ablaze moments later.
Assembly member of the area, Raphael Akudbilla Messiah, roundly condemned the dastardly act by the youth and urged them to allow the law to take its course in such instances.
