Electricity Company of Ghana has disconnected electricity supply to the new Cape Coast Sports Stadium over GH¢ 719,792.46 debt. The disconnection is part of efforts by the ECG to recover monies owed it. The Cape Coast Sports Stadium was only commissioned in May by Ghana President John Mahama and has only hosted one international match- Ghana’s U20 against Ethiopia in an African Youth Championship qualifier.
