Duayaw Nkwanta: Prison guard commits suicide in his room

A Prison officer whose name was only given as Budu has committed suicide at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Brong-Ahafo Region. The 33-year-old deceased  is said to have committed the act in his room. Shocked residents, indicated that Budu as a prison officer also owns a printing press and two shops thus his conduct cannot be blamed on monetary issue. Wife of the deceased recently traveled to Accra to welcome her brother who had come from abroad. District Commander, DSP Awuah Baffuor said the cause of his conduct is still unknown but the body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy, while the police in Tano North has begun investigations into the incident.
