Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, the man behind the production of Boko Haram's video footages has been arrested by soldiers of the Nigeria Army in Borno State. According to a report by Leadership Newspaper, Sadiq was said to have been arrested in Uba town of Askira Uba local area of Borno state. The brain behind the insurgents' viral video posts on the Internet was arrested alongside four other suspected Boko Haram members, who were nabbed in villages around southern Borno. Spokesman of the Nigeria Army, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said he was arrested in Uba town of Askira Uba local area of Borno state. “Vigilant troops of 28 Task Force Brigade today arrested another Boko Haram terrorist suspect, Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, believed to be the terrorists’ Chief Cameraman and suspect number 58 on the list of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list”, said Colonel Usman.
Continuing, he said, 'He was arrested at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The troops also arrested two other suspected Boko Haram terrorists along with two other terrorists at at Rumirgo and Kilakasa.' Colonel Usman who is the Acting Director Army Public Relations described the arrests as “yet another unprecedented achievement”. Sadiq occupied position Number 58 on the list of published photograph of ‘100 Wanted Boko Haram suspects’ that was circulated by the Department of Army Public Relations in October 2015.
Continuing, he said, 'He was arrested at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
