Namaganda died at Nakasero Hospital at around 10 a.m where she had been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit after getting involved in an accident along Masaka-Kampala highway yesterday evening. According to her husband, Mukasa Fred Mbidde, Namaganda together with two others were seriously injured after their vehicle was knocked off the road around Mpigi by an unidentified motorist

According to a family member, Innocent Kateregga, Namaganda’s body was still at Nakasero hospital by press time. “She was coming from Masaka to Kampala yesterday evening when she was involved in the accident. The body is still in Nakasero hospital but we are waiting for communication from the family. Her driver is also in a critical condition,” Kateregga said.
