Ghana: Has Government 'refused' to retrieve €25m Woyome Cash 3yrs after Supreme Court judgement?

“I am afraid I do not see them retrieving the money, it is sad indeed”, A disappointed Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa South constituency, Hon Atta Akyea was quoted as saying in reference to Prez John Mahama's led government's inability to retrieve more than €25m it illegally paid to National Democratic Congress (NDC) financier Alfred Woyome, three years after a Supreme Court judgement.

Ashaiman: Bedbugs, Mosquitoes Invade Polyclinic

Patients who are admitted at the Ashaiman Polyclinic have to battle with mosquitoes and bedbugs every night and returns home sometimes with malaria.

Administrator of the Polyclinic, Nurudeen Isaaka Idrissu, made the disclosure when he received some 13 buckets of insecticide paints and disinfectants from Ernest Henry Norgbey, the parliamentary candidate of NDC,

Ghana; Man, 46, arrested for selling five children for $130.00 into slavery

Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Ghana Police Service has arrested a 46-year-old man, Bright Agyepong, for allegedly selling his four biological children into slavery on the Volta Lake for GH¢ 500.00 ($130.00) All the four children, who are males, have been rescued, along with another nine -year- old boy who was said to have been sold into slavery by his relation when he was three years old.
