Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, 2016 flagbearer of the NPP says he will review the almost $1 billion International Monetary Fund loan Ghana received this year if voted into power.Nana Addo, who wrapped up a nationwide tour questioned government’s appetite for borrowing, insisting it’s becoming a problem.
“The appetite of this government for borrowing is a major problem, The future of our country is being mortgaged. “The economy is going to be the major issue of this election. The NPP is promising to offer a decent Ghana than the John Mahama-led government. “We are going to let Ghanaians know that we can manage this economy in a much better manner than they have seen.”  Ghana raised some 1 billion dollars in Euro bonds on October 8.
