''Ghana Will Turn Upside Down If Voter Register Is Not Changed' - Rev. Owusu Bempah

Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah
The founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has decided to embark on a one-man demonstration if the Electoral Commission (EC) fails to compile a new credible voters register for the 2016 general elections.

His one-man demonstration to demand a compilation of a new voters register, is as a result of a revelation from God to him that Ghana would descend into the abyss if a new voters register is not compiled. “I don’t support any party, but this country will turn upside down if the voter register is not changed. I will personally hit the street and protest to get it done,” he said. The man of God, speaking on Okay FM said he was very sure of what he “saw in the spirit” and hence has
advised the EC not to wait till the last minute. “What will happen if EC change the voter register? Those opposing are making me believe that they have some interest in it if it’s not changed. There are some people working behind and trying hard to stop the decision, but I will personally not allow that to happen. “I will go on demonstration to have this issue meet a good course, and it will be pointless if EC turns its back on us,” he said.
Since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) began this campaign for a new voters register, several other groups and individuals including Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA, Catholic Bishops' Conference, former Presidents, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor have also added their voices to the call for a new voters register.
