Former President John Agyekum Kufuor Calls For New Voters Register

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor
"I am with you entirely, completely that the Electoral Commission should not plead excuses like cleaning the voters' register. “I have seen what faulty elections can do to otherwise peaceful people. So the Electoral Commission should listen,” former President John Agyekum Kufuor told leaders of the pressure group, Let
My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA), when they paid a courtesy  call on him for a new voters' register ahead of the 2016 elections. The group on Wednesday obtained the backing of former President Jerry Rawlings and his wife for a fresh register for the 2016 polls. They contend that the current register is compromised and unfit for next year’s elections. The main opposition New Patriotic Party and the LMVC have been at the forefront of the call for a fresh register ahead of the 2016 elections.
