Update: Kidnapper Of Anas’ Boy Remanded In Prison Custody

A suspected kidnapper, Adamu Asuma has been remanded by a Tamale Circuit Court on Monday. The court presided over by His Honor Inspector Twumasi Appiah, did not take the suspect’s plea of not guilty; and remanded him to reappear on October 19, to allow the police conduct further investigations. Ishmael Hussein, the victim and a member of  Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ private investigation company, Tiger Eye PI
was swiftly rescued by the police in Tamale over the weekend, after his abduction on Saturday
morning from his family house.  Meanwhile a member of the private investigative firm, said attempts to intimidate them will not stop them from doing their work. “We will term what has happened as an occupational hazard; but for our members across the country we are safe, secured and comfortable. Our focus is not on what has happened and it’s not a distraction. Our focus is on the judges’ issue. Our colleague is doing very fine” he noted. It is unclear what the motive for the failed kidnap could be. However, coming on the heels of the revelations on the judicial corruption by Anas and his team, there are suggestions one of the implicated judges may have masterminded the kidnapping.
