Unprovoked Assailants Stabs And Injures Many At Circle, Accra

Scores of people were injured when two men went on a stabbing spree around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra, Thursday late afternoon. The men picked their victims at random and stabbed them without any provocation. Maxwell of Mediaforce Ghana was an
eyewitness to the whole charade. It was a chaotic scene as men, women had to run for their dear lives. It is not clear yet the motive for the attacks but eye witnesses say the two had engaged in a serious fight before turning their anger on the innocent victims. The two assailants were later over powered by police personnel, arrested and driven away to an unknown station. According to Maxwell Smith, the police did not have it easy arresting the assailants as angry shop owners, traders attempted to lynch the two. Some of the angry traders claimed the two attacked one of their colleagues and they wanted revenge.
