Reports say the deputy Nigeria High Commissioner to Ghana Alhaji Osman Nijima has been involved in a car crash at a village near the Brong Ahafo region. Alhaji Nijima was on his way to the Northern region to attend the ongoing International Trade Fair in Tamale.

The cause of the accident is, however, not known but President John Mahama has dispatched the mayor of Tamale Hanan Jundaadow and the former Northern regional Minister Mohammed Limuna to the crash site.
