‘This is the REAL reason Michael Jackson died’, claims singer’s closest friend

MICHAEL Jackson would still be ALIVE if he had stuck to singing with the Motown label, according to producer Berry Gordy. The producer boldly claims the Thriller singer would be wowing crowds today if he had continued to belt out groovy soul sounds as part of the brand instead of making the switch to the pop charts and another manager.
The Jackson 5 were known for their catchy tunes like ABC
Berry, 86, was the key figure behind MJ’s career after he signed the late singer’s family group, The Jackson 5, to his label in 1969. He played a key role in launching Michael’s solo career just two years later but said dad of the brood Joe Jackson’s thirst for “power and money” proved the downfall. He said “of course” sticking with the music theme and brand would have saved the Smooth Criminal star’s life.

Talking about his close pal, who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009, he said: “Of course, but it wasn’t Michael who wanted to leave. “It was his father. They wanted power and money.” . The family group included Jackie, Tito and Jermaine while Michael and brother Marlon joined later on. The cute afro-haired singers captivated fans worldwide with catchy tracks like ABC and I Want You Back.

After releasing 10 albums in his solo career Michael passed away as he was preparing for a huge 50-date residency in London. Though Berry, a dad-of-eight, said he was concerned about the star – who then went on to have skin disease vitiligo and numerous cosmetic operations – throughout his life. He said: “I always worried about Michael.” -the sun
