Ghana; Man, 46, arrested for selling five children for $130.00 into slavery

Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Ghana Police Service has arrested a 46-year-old man, Bright Agyepong, for allegedly selling his four biological children into slavery on the Volta Lake for GH¢ 500.00 ($130.00) All the four children, who are males, have been rescued, along with another nine -year- old boy who was said to have been sold into slavery by his relation when he was three years old.

Yaw Nkansah, 35 the alleged murderer suspected to have murdered a farmer in Assin Kushea in the Central Region has been arrested by the Bekwai Police in Ashanti Region.
