It is said that blood is thicker than water, and blood-relations run deep regardless of the situation.
This was never more evident than yesterday on Nairobi’s Lang’ata Road when this woman (in red trousers) tried to commit suicide by throwing herself into moving traffic.
But her sister, assisted by well-wishers, took her to safety. Trouble started when the woman, alleged to be a police officer, drank one too many; something
she claimed to have never done before.
As they tried to contain her, she kept yelling “Sister yangu ni mkubwa” (my sister is a boss) for all those who cared to listen.
