One of the 42 ladies involved in the Koforidua sex scandal in the Eastern region says she can no longer bear the pain and humiliation since the video went viral. The 23-three-year old Junior High School (JHS) graduate in an exclusive interview said, residents who have watched the video hurl abusive and unsavory words on her when seen in town. Residents in Koforidua are still in shock after a sex video involving 42 women in the town went viral on social media. The suspect, Daniel Ofosu, aka Junior, aka Ahotoba is said to have filmed sex encounters with some women within Koforidua and its environs and allegedly circulating it via Bluetooth, Whatsapp and other social media platforms at a GHȼ5 fee.
His mode of operation was to use his Toyota Camry, ride on the back of his father’s private flourishing business and lure unsuspecting women, including married ones, into his residence and subject them to different bouts of sexual encounters whilst filming the whole act on a digital camera.
Police in Asokore have mounted a manhunt for him after five of the videos went viral on social media. In an interview on Adom News Tuesday, Abena [pseudo name] said she is confined at home due to the shame and harassment. The lady who claims to have dated the suspect for nine years is still baffled at the intent of the man she loved for nine years.
Abena indicated that, she ended their relationship due to David’s amorous relationship with other women in the town. “We dated for nine years and I loved him genuinely; so I wonder why he will do this to me” she bemoaned. She therefore appealed to young women to be wary of men especially young boys who have laptops in their rooms. "I'm appealing to young girls to be careful of boys with laptops in their rooms; if possible, let them put it off before you take off your dress" she advised.
Abena stressed that, she would have saved herself from the embarrassment and shame if she was a little vigilant. The victim who is currently dating another man said she has been candid with him on the matter though he is yet to see the video.
Abena has with the help of her uncle submitted a copy of the video to the police to aid them in investigations. She wants the suspected arrested and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others
