Ken Agyapong threatens to publish names of ‘corrupt’ chiefs

Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has sent a strong warning to the chiefs of Assin Fosu in the Central region to desist from providing Immigration School admission forms to unqualified people.

He alleged that, some chiefs in the town are using their positions to take monies from people outside the town and issuing them protocol letters to enable them gain admission to the school instead of giving the opportunity to the indigenes.

Kennedy Agyapong made this known at one of his “MEET YOUR MP TOUR”, when the youth quizzed him about their inability to gain admission to the Assin Fosu Immigration Training School when in fact, it is situated on their land.

The outspoken MP noted that, though some of the chiefs are said to have contributed immensely to the building of the school, their conduct is "illegal".

He stressed that, most of the youth in the town are highly qualified but are still home because they don't have money to pay the chiefs for the protocol letters. The Assin Central MP said, he will be left with no other option than to publish the names of the chiefs engaging in such acts in the media if the situation persist.
