His father Wayne is one of the best footballers in the country, but it seems Kai Rooney prefers a different ball game entirely. Pictures posted on social media, showed the youngster playing golf on his own mini course, given to him as part of his sixth birthday celebrations. The lavish gift was revealed by his mother, Coleen Rooney, 29, who conveniently used the image as an opportunity to plug her brother’s company by thanking them for installing the feature.
It is estimated the artificial green, which can be used all year round, would have cost the
proud parents around £7,000. But they proved money was no issue when it came to
celebrating Kai’s special day, posting pictures of the youngster surrounded by gifts.
She also shared an image of her son surrounded by presents, with what looks to be at least three different pairs of football boots, and football themed cup cakes. Manchester United footballer dad, Wayne, also posted images to Facebook, including his son enjoying the impressive birthday present with the caption: ‘Happy 6th Birthday to my son Kai,’ In the past the pair have avoided revealing too many details about presents given to Kai on his birthday, though two years ago Coleen uploaded a snap of her son surrounded by new board games. It’s the second birthday the Rooney family have celebrated recently, as Wayne turned 30, on Saturday 24th October. Coleen was forced to hit back to online trolls over the weekend after she received a considerable amount of messages criticising Wayne's football performance. His poor performance led to fans trolling him and his wife on Twitter but after receiving several nasty messages Coleen hit back. She wrote: 'My husbands Twitter is @WayneRooney .... So send your messages to him not me!!! Thanks ... Now enjoy Halloween!! I am .(sic)
