Mahama can't manage Ghana, lacks credibility - Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Leader of the Progressive People’s Party, has bemoaned the speed at which Ghana’s economy is being derailed by the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration. Dr. Nduom in an interview with Peacefmonline.com warned Ghanaians not to expect to
see our economy pick the right shape under President Mahama and his team of ministers. He argues that the NDC led by President Mahama has lost credibility and it would only take an administration like the Progressive People’s Party to restore that credibility in the eyes of Ghanaians. “The PPP is the only credible party standing. The NDC, they are definitively going to field John Dramani Mahama, and it is going to be essentially the same team. And that team is all NDC- it is not a combination of people from anywhere else…that (NDC) team has demonstrated that they can’t manage this economy successfully,” he said. Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom went further to explain that as a result of this lack of credibility on the NDC's part, President Mahama and his team of ministers are constantly knocking on the doors of IMF for loans. “…They threw in the towel by saying we need credibility from somewhere else, and that credibility should come from the IMF. They went there (IMF) to get less than $1billion; knowing that $1billion would not solve the problems that we have”. Dr. Nduom also stated that President Mahama has officially informed Ghanaians that he "lacks credibility" and together with his ministers, they are unable to "manage the difficulties and challenges" of Ghana.
